Abstract
MEDIÇÃO DE POROSIDADE E PERMEABILIDADE DE FORMAÇÃO DE NÚCLEO. Trata-se de valores para porosidade e permeabilidade de amostras de núcleo em um furo de poço que são estimados através da geração de ondas radiais com uma fonte acústica em fluido ao redor da amostra de núcleo e medição de pressão no fluido. Ademais, a fonte acústica opera a uma frequência próxima a uma frequência ressonante da amostra de núcleo. Após a fonte acústica não operar mais na frequência ressonante, a pressão no fluido atenua ao longo do tempo. A atenuação de pressão é registrada através de medições de pressão, juntamente com a pressão no fluido na primeira harmônica (componente espectral). A atenuação de pressão e o componente espectral são dependentes, cada um, da porosidade e permeabilidade da amostra de núcleo. Dessa forma, os valores para a porosidade e permeabilidade são determinados com base em relações aritméticas entre a atenuação de pressão e o componente espectral e a porosidade e permeabilidade.
