1/1 resumo umbilical a presente invenção refere-se a um umbilical para produção de hidrocarboneto marítimo que compreende de modo concêntrico: um revestimento externo, pelo menos duas camadas de proteção de enrolamento cruzado e um núcleo confinado pelas camadas de proteção, e que compreende uma pluralidade de componentes do umbilical ativos alongados, caracterizado pelo fato de que cada camada de proteção compreende uma pluralidade de tiras poliméricas reforçadas. o uso de tiras poliméricas reforçadas para formar as camadas de proteção proporciona uma disposição de peso reduzido, porém, ainda flexível, a qual é significativamente mais fácil de fabricar visto que são necessárias muito menos tiras para formar as camadas de proteção em comparação ao grande número de cabos de aço das camadas de proteção convencionais.
