Abstract
ESPALHAMENTO DE CABO SÍSMICO COM ARRASTO REDUZIDO E MÉTODO. Trata-se de um método e uma engrenagem de extremidade frontal marinha (300) para conectar um conjunto de cabos sísmicos (304) a um barco rebocador (302). Sendo que a engrenagem de extremidade frontal inclui cordas (310) para conectar um primeiro subconjunto de cabos sísmicos ao barco; cabos de introdução (320) para conectar um segundo subconjunto de cabos sísmicos ao barco; e um cabo de laço de retorno (350) conectado eletricamente entre partes posteriores de um primeiro e um segundo cabo sísmico adjacentes. O primeiro cabo sísmico (310A) pertence ao primeiro subconjunto de cabos sísmicos, e o segundo cabo sísmico (310B) pertence ao segundo subconjunto de cabos sísmicos, e os cabos sísmicos do primeiro subconjunto são intercalados com cabos sísmicos do segundo subconjunto.
