The present invention relates to packaging adhesives, methods of using glue adhesives for the closure of a multilayer structure and articles of manufacture comprising the adhesives. The multilayer structure is a laminate of at least one composite film and at least one kraft paper substrate. It has been found that an adhesive comprising (a) a 1: 1 to 5: 2 mixture of a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin copolymer having a density greater than or equal to 0.880g / cm3 for a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin copolymer talocene with a density of less than 0.880g / cm3; (b) a compatible tackifier and (c) a compatible wax has high adhesion to both kraft and composite film with poor blocking properties.
