Abstract
MÉTODO E SISTEMA PARA MONITORAMENTO DA ALIMENTAÇÃO ARTIFICIAL DE UM PACIENTE E SISTEMA E MÉTODO PARA MONITORAMENTO DA ABSORÇÃO NUTRICIONAL DE UMA CRIANÇA A presente invenção descreve sistemas e métodos para o monitoramento da absorção nutricional de um indivíduo. O método pode incluir o monitoramento dos níveis da concentração de gás intestinal da microflora associados a um paciente e o ajuste do volume de nutrientes fornecido ao paciente com um dispositivo de alimentação artificial baseado, pelo menos em parte, nos níveis de gases intestinais da microflora associados ao paciente. Um sensor de gás intestinal da microflora pode ser usado para monitorar o gás intestinal da microflora associado ao paciente. O sensor de gás intestinal da microflora pode monitorar o gás intestinal da microflora em um hálito exalado do paciente ou no trato digestivo do paciente.
