transformada de bloco particionada adaptativa ao padrão de textura. a invenção se refere à codificação de um bloco de imagem de uma imagem que usa uma transformada de bloco particionada. os inventores reconhecem que a aplicação de um mapeamento inversível associado ao padrão de textura aos pixels de uma primeira particão, a dita partição resulta do particionamento do dito bloco de imagem de acordo com um padrão de textura atual ao qual o dito mapeamento inversível associado ao padrão de textura é associado, permite que a limitação do número máximo de primeiras transformadas 1-d requeridas não exceda um número de colunas no bloco de imagem, assim como a limitação do número máximo de segundas transformadas 1-d requeridas não exceda um número de fileiras no bloco de imagem, também. a obtenção da limitação de transformadas 1-d requeridas permite a implementação mais eficiente em hardware e aprimora o desempenho de codificação, mas, também, permite partições adicionais de acordo com padrões de textura que compreendem pelo menos um entre múltiplas faixas, padrões de textura com distribuição de pixel altamente assimétrica e padrões de textura não direcionais.
