método implementado por computador e sistema de computador configurados para atenuação de ondas sísmicas relacionadas com superfícies, refletidas de modo múltiplo. a presente invenção incorpora a utilização de metodologias baseadas em modelos e em dados para atenuar múltiplas em dados sísmicos utilizando um modelo de previsão que inclui reflexões múltiplas de ondas sísmicas relacionadas com superfícies. a presente invenção inclui técnicas de feixe que levam em conta o azimute do feixe e concolvem um feixe de múltiplas previsto com um segmento do feixe pegleg modelado para obter um feixe de múltiplas convolvido. o feixe de múltiplas convolvido pode depois ser desconvolvido para atenuar as múltiplas presentes no feixe de entrada original.
