Abstract

HIDROTURBINA COM DIFUSOR DE ALTO DESEMPENHO. Esta patente se aplica ao setor de energias renováveis ou de turbomáquinas para geração de energia elétrica e tem por objetivo a invenção de uma microturbina hidrocinética, denominada de Hidroturbina com Difusor de Alto Desempenho, composto de um eixo misto com rotor de pás otimizadas, acoplados a um difusor cônico com flange curto. Detalhadamente, a invenção diz respeito ao design inovador da hidroturbina de pequeno porte, atribuindo uma melhoria aerodinâmica na geometria das pás e ao formato estrutural do difusor cônico flangeado com efeito combinado de um concentrador e um difusor. A principal característica desse conjunto é um alto desempenho para o sistema hidrocinético, podendo alcançar uma eficiência entre 60% e 80%. A diferença do estado da técnica deste sistema, está na composição dos eixos vertical e horizontal, perpendicularmente, combinados por uma caixa de transmissão 90º; nas pás otimizadas com perfis e torções, mecanicamente, favoráveis para melhorar o torque de partida e diminuir o índice de cavitação; e no uso de um difusor cônico em duas faces com comprimento alongado, estrutura inovadora e flange curto capaz de desacelerar o escoamento na saída do sistema, criando uma região de baixa pressão neste ponto, desta forma, aumentando a velocidade do escoamento na entrada pelo efeito combinado de um concentrador, e consequentemente o coeficiente de potência da máquina, resultando em uma alta eficiência do sistema hidrocinético, mesmo operando em cursos d'águas com baixa velocidade de correntezas.HYDROTURBINE WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE DIFFUSER. This patent applies to the sector of renewable energies or turbomachinery for the generation of electric energy and aims at the invention of a hydrokinetic microturbine, called Hydroturbine with High Performance Diffuser, composed of a mixed shaft with a rotor with optimized blades, coupled to a conical diffuser with a short flange. In detail, the invention concerns the innovative design of the small hydroturbine, attributing an aerodynamic improvement in the geometry of the blades and the structural shape of the flanged conical diffuser with the combined effect of a concentrator and a diffuser. The main characteristic of this set is a high performance for the hydrokinetic system, being able to reach an efficiency between 60% and 80%. The difference in the state of the art of this system lies in the composition of the vertical and horizontal axes, perpendicularly, combined by a 90º transmission box; in optimized blades with mechanically favorable profiles and torsions to improve the starting torque and reduce the cavitation rate; and the use of a conical diffuser on two faces with an elongated length, innovative structure and short flange capable of slowing down the flow at the exit of the system, creating a region of low pressure at this point, thus increasing the flow velocity at the inlet by the effect of a concentrator, and consequently the power coefficient of the machine, resulting in a high efficiency of the hydrokinetic system, even operating in watercourses with low current speed.
