Description
The product resulting from the composition will be for use in effluents in general, bringing, among other benefits, an important reduction in chemical elements that generate phosphorus residues.
[003] Em comparação com a composição dos produtos mais utilizados atualmente, a composição do presente pedido de patente apresenta-se com considerável redução de químicos e também da quantidade dos químicos utilizados, além de dispensar a adição de esterilizantes ou bactericidas para alcançar o efeito saneante.[003] Compared to the composition of the most commonly used products today, the composition of this patent application presents a considerable reduction in chemicals and also in the quantity of chemicals used, in addition to dispensing with the addition of sterilants or bactericides to achieve the effect sanitizing.
As we know, one of the major concerns of cities today is the treatment of effluents generated through human activity and industrial processes. It is necessary to treat effluents appropriately to prevent contamination and also to use the water as reuse water, in sustainable action.
In this sense, patent document BR 102013031412-9 called “Process for reducing nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater effluents using Portland cement generating slow release fertilizer with silica” can be cited as an example. As the text of this document explains, cement granulated from clinker or ground into powder, when coming into contact or percolated with the effluent, in a continuous or batch process, generates a final by-product free of phosphorus and nitrogen, effective in water treatment.
Além disso, a maior parte dos produtos conhecidos utilizam de bactericidas e/ou esterilizantes em sua composição, e sabe-se que o excesso de componentes químicos, além de prejudicial, torna-se caro, tem pouca estabilidade devido ao balanceamento químico entre os diversos componentes e, muitas vezes, apresenta baixa solubilidade.[006] Despite its excellent application, processes such as those in the aforementioned example require complex operations such as stirring the cement or its mixtures in the effluent to generate an insoluble precipitate, in a crystallizing reactor, followed by decantation. Furthermore, most known products use bactericides and/or sterilants in their composition, and it is known that excess chemical components, in addition to being harmful, become expensive and have little stability due to the chemical balance between the various components and often has low solubility.
Another problem arising from currently developed compositions containing, for example, Magnesium Oxide (MgO) or excess incorporated chemical components, end up not satisfactorily eliminating phosphorous residues and this undesirable concentration in water volumes favors the bloom of algae, cyanobacteria and aquatic macrophytes. Algae, as we know, extract large amounts of oxygen from the water in addition to preventing the passage of sunlight, preventing the survival of healthy organisms (eutrophication).
The solid composition, in the form of salt particles and powders, the reason for this patent application, precisely proposes the drastic reduction of phosphorous elements in effluent and spring waters, through a combination of components reduced in chemicals and reduced in the quantity of chemicals used.
The composition is mixed in a relatively short time in a solid mixer and with less energy spent for its homogenization, which is done in total interaction between particles, favoring, in this mixture, the reduction of the chemical load of the final product.
After prepared and when in use, due to its facilitated solubility, the product acts with greater release of sterilizing agents, favoring increased efficiency in the oxidation of organic materials when coming into contact with the effluent, reducing phosphorus residues in this water which, thus, previously treated, it is more stable for final treatment and reuse.
As can be seen, as it is a specialized product for the treatment of effluents, it has a composition with fewer chemicals, eliminating the need for the addition of sterilants and bactericides. Despite this, even with reduced percentages of chemicals in the composition, the product has similar or better performance than the products most currently used for the same purpose. With the reduction of chemicals and the reduction in the percentage of chemicals in its composition, and due to its solid presentation, the product guarantees easy application, safe handling, allows waste water to be reused and offers a reduced final purchase price.
The product has greater oxidation power for organic materials due to the greater amount of sterilizing agent released and high solubility capacity.
