Description
[001] A presente invenção se insere no campo da mensuração de massa corporal de indivíduos, mais precisamente na averiguação da veracidade da medida.[001] The present invention is part of the field of measuring the body mass of individuals, more precisely in the verification of the veracity of the measure.
Atualmente podem ser consideradas atividades de física, defesa pessoal, prática esportiva, além de serem constantemente associadas a um estilo de vida.[002] Combat sports stand out both from a historical point of view, as well as their representativeness in international competitions, such as the Olympic Games. Combat sports as well as martial arts have been present in our country since the beginning of the 20th century and are bodily activities that influence our society with their values, cultural traits and popular participation, providing many benefits both in the physical and mental health of their practitioners. . Currently, they can be considered physical activities, self-defense, sports, in addition to being constantly associated with a lifestyle.
Na tentativa de que as disputas sejam mais equilibradas, são encontradas divisões por categorias de idade, peso e, algumas vezes graduação.[003] Combat sports cover all modalities that involve two athletes disputing each other for the victory of a fight, which is determined by points, loss of consciousness, withdrawal or disqualification. In an attempt to make the disputes more balanced, divisions are found by categories of age, weight and, sometimes, graduation.
Após a pesagem o atleta recupera parte do peso perdido para a luta, a fim de obter vantagem em relação ao seu oponente.[004] Studies show that most athletes have difficulty keeping within the weight limits of their category. Most competitors reduce a large amount of their weight days before competitions, in order to fit into lighter categories than their usual weight. After the weigh-in, the athlete regains part of the weight lost for the fight, in order to gain an advantage over his opponent.
Essas práticas são potencialmente prejudiciais à saúde, pois causam efeitos fisiológicos adversos.[005] However, this practice is quite exhausting for the athlete due to severe restriction in food and liquid intake, strenuous exercise, training with rubber clothes, use of saunas, inducing vomiting, and the use of pharmacological agents such as laxatives and diuretics. . These practices are potentially harmful to health as they cause adverse physiological effects.
Tendo isto em vista, faz-se necessário o desenvolvimento de uma solução de detecção dos tipos possíveis de manipulação de valores de pesagem de indivíduos.[006] Due to these complications there are athletes who, somehow, try to manipulate the result in order to obtain a measurement value below the real value and within the desired category. Bearing this in mind, it is necessary to develop a solution to detect the possible types of manipulation of individual weighing values.
Entretanto a presente invenção contém recursos onde elimina problemas técnicos presentes em tais balanças contidas no estado da técnica.[007] Currently we find some balances aimed at the detection of manipulation of results that present some similarity to the present invention. However, the present invention contains resources where it eliminates technical problems present in such balances contained in the state of the art.
To emphasize this understanding, we can observe the document US9901289 "BIOMEASURAMENT DEVICE WITH USER VERIFICATION AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME" which reveals a device and a weighing method that contains a fraud detection system and unhealthy weight loss practices. The detection of possible fraud uses an image or a video of the user, taken at the time of weighing, which checks some aspects such as the body contour line of the image and compares them with the measured weight and with previously stored data.
The differences between the solution presented in the aforementioned document and the present invention are considerably large, such as: the need to use images of the individual at the time of weighing. However, the biggest difference is in the need to obtain a previous weighing of the individual for comparison purposes.
The present invention reveals a fraud detection system in weighing any individual, where a plurality of instantaneous measurements of his mass are analyzed, these measurements being captured in a certain time interval and, detecting discrepancies between them, results up in the invalidation of the weighing. The system also has the possibility of understanding the authentication functionality of the individual to be weighed through a fingerprint reader (4) . Additionally, the present invention presents a Fraud Detection Method in Weighing Individuals in which the variation of instantaneous measurements of an individual's body mass performed in a certain time interval is analyzed and, with this analysis, it is verified whether or not no attempt to cheat at the weigh-in.

[017] A figura 6 mostra o gráfico referente ao critério 5: Módulo da diferença entre a média do segmento e a média global da sessão de pesagem do método.[017] Figure 6 shows the graph referring to criterion 5: Module of the difference between the segment average and the global average of the method weighing session.
The present invention, as seen in Figure 1, reveals a fraud detection system in weighing individuals where a plurality of instantaneous measurements of the mass of the same are analyzed, these measurements being captured in a certain time interval and, detecting discrepancies between them, the weighing is invalidated. Said system comprises, in its essential configuration, in: a digital scale (1); a processing unit (2); and a display (3).
The digital scale (1) has the function of measuring the individual's body mass a plurality of times for a certain time interval and providing this plurality of instantaneous measurements to the processing unit (2). The scale (1) must have the ability to measure the individual's body mass at least 10 times every second and have communication means to send weighing data.
The processing unit (2) has the function of receiving information from the balance (1), processing this information, detecting discrepancies between them, interpreting these discrepancies and, with this interpretation, verifying the validity of the weighing.
It is worth mentioning that, when an individual is in the orthostatic position, known as "standing", he is not completely static, but constantly seeking balance. This constant rebalancing generates, on the digital scale (1), a variation between the instantaneous measurements of the individual's body mass, where the validation of the weighing is verified according to the analysis of this variation.
Se a pesagem for considerada inválida, a unidade de processamento (2) fornece uma mensagem ao visor (3) assinalando a invalidade da mesma.[022] If the weighing is considered valid, the processor (2) provides the average value of the individual's body mass measurements to the display (3). If the weighing is considered invalid, the processing unit (2) provides a message to the display (3) indicating its invalidity.
The display (3) has the function of receiving information from the processing unit (2) and presenting the same, in which this information is the average value of the measurements of the body mass of the weighed individual or a message of invalidity of the weighing .
The system still has the possibility to understand the authentication functionality of the individual to be weighed, for this the processing unit (2) must have the ability to connect to the internet (8) to establish communication with a server (6) on the net. The system, to authenticate the individual to be weighed, must also comprise, as seen in Figure 2, a fingerprint reader (4), at least one mobile electronic device (5), a server (6) and a database (7).
The fingerprint reader (4) has the function of assisting the identification of the individual to be weighed by scanning the fingerprint of the plantar region of the foot, commonly known as the sole of the foot, or part of it and providing the data referring to the impression. digital to the processing unit (2).
The processing unit (2), in turn, sends the data regarding the fingerprint of the plantar region of the individual's foot to be weighed to the server (6).
O dispositivo eletrônico móvel (5) deve conter meios de conexão à internet (8).[027] The mobile electronic device (5) has the function of making the interface between the user (individual to be weighed) and the system, performing the registration of user information, providing the user registration information to the server (6 ), assist in user login authentication in the system by providing login information to the server (6) , allow user access to the system, receive user login authentication invalidation message from the server. The mobile electronic device (5) must contain means of connection to the internet (8).
It is worth mentioning that the user login information is contained in the user registration information, that user access to the system is allowed if the login information entered by the user matches the login information saved in the database ( 7) and the authentication invalid message is sent if the login information entered by the user does not match the login information saved in the database (7).
The database (7) has the function of storing information regarding the registration and fingerprint of the foot plantar region of the system users (individuals to be weighed) and allowing access to them by the server (6) .
The server (6) has the function of managing the authentication of the user login (individual to be weighed) and of managing the verification of the identity of the individual to be weighed.
The first time a user (individual to be weighed) uses the present invention, the server (6) receives from the mobile electronic device (5) the user's registration information, receives the fingerprint information of the region of the user's foot and stores them in the database in a linked manner.
O servidor (7) ainda recebe da unidade de processamento (2) as informações da impressão digital da região plantar do pé do usuário e verifica se as mesmas estão de acordo com as informações da impressão digital da região plantar do pé armazenadas no banco de dados (7).[032] In other times when a user (individual to be weighed) uses the present invention, the server (6) receives from the mobile electronic device (5) the login information of a user and checks if they are in accordance with the login information stored in the database (7). The server (7) still receives from the processing unit (2) the fingerprint information of the user's plantar region and verifies that they are in accordance with the information of the fingerprint of the plantar region of the foot stored in the database. (7).
If a user's login information does not match the login information stored in the database (7), the server (6) does not allow the user (individual to be weighed) access to the system, no weighing being performed.
[034] Se as informações de impressão digital da região plantar do pé do usuário não estiverem de acordo com as informações de impressão digital da região plantar do pé do usuário armazenadas no banco de dados (7), o servidor (6) invalida a pesagem.[034] If the fingerprint information of the user's plantar region does not match the fingerprint information of the user's plantar region stored in the database (7), the server (6) invalidates the weighing .
O referido método compreende, em sua configuração preferencial, nas seguintes etapas: aquisição e armazenamento de dados, divisão dos trechos de pesagem (slots) relativos aos parâmetros característicos, análise de trechos de pesagens (slots) e validação da pesagem.[035] Additionally, the present invention presents a Fraud Detection Method in Weighing Individuals, as seen in Figure 3, in which the variation of instantaneous measurements of an individual's body mass performed in a given time interval is analyzed and, with this analysis, it is verified whether or not there was an attempt to cheat in the weighing. Said method comprises, in its preferred configuration, the following steps: data acquisition and storage, division of weighing sections (slots) related to characteristic parameters, analysis of weighing sections (slots) and weighing validation.
- 1) Diferença entre o peso instantâneo máximo e o peso instantâneo mínimo no slot;
- 2) Razão entre a variância das pesagens e a variância das diferenças entre as pesagens;
- 3) Coeficientes da curva de regressão polinomial (pesagem em função do tempo);
- 4) Curtose da amostra;
- 5) Módulo da diferença entre a média do segmento e a média global da sessão de pesagem;
- 6) Quantidade de picos e vales de alta intensidade dividido pelo intervalo de tempo do slot;
- 7) Quantidade de picos e vales de alta intensidade dividido pelo intervalo de tempo do slot, multiplicado pela raiz quadrada do valor médio da pesagem;
- 8) Tempo de estabilização de picos e vales;
- 1) Difference between the maximum instantaneous weight and the minimum instantaneous weight in the slot;
- 2) Ratio between the variance of the weighings and the variance of the differences between the weighings;
- 3) Polynomial regression curve coefficients (weighing as a function of time);
- 4) Sample kurtosis;
- 5) Module of the difference between the segment average and the global average of the weighing session;
- 6) Number of high intensity peaks and valleys divided by the slot time interval;
- 7) Number of high-intensity peaks and valleys divided by the slot time interval, multiplied by the square root of the average weighing value;
- 8) Peak and valley stabilization time;
- 9) Peak and valley stabilization time divided by the average weight value; and
- 10) Fast Fourier Transform Coefficients.
For each of the characteristic parameters, a different slot time interval is assigned because the parameters need different evaluations. The time intervals of the preferred slots of the characteristic parameters are contained in the following table:
[041] In step 4, weighing validation, the number of invalid slots for each of the characteristic parameters is checked. If this amount is greater than a certain percentage, established according to the following table, the attempt to evade the weighing is verified and it is invalidated.
As seen in figures 4 and 5, we can see the difference in the patterns of variation of instantaneous weighing in a normal weighing, without an attempt to cheat, and a cheated weighing.
In figure 6 we see the graph referring to the evaluation of
As mentioned in the Module the difference between the segment average and the global average of the weighing session divided by the global average of the weighing in a slot, to be considered valid, it must be less than 0.006.
Isso acarreta na invalidação do slot.[045] In Figure 6, as highlighted, the Modulus value of the difference between the segment average and the global average of the weighing session divided by the global average of the weighing in one of the time slots exceeds the threshold value of 0.006. This causes the slot to be invalidated.
Since, as mentioned, if 10% of the slots are invalidated, the weighing attempt is detected.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate the knowledge presented here and will be able to reproduce the invention in the modalities presented and in other variants, covered by the scope of the appended claims.
