The present invention refers to footwear produced entirely in polyurethane. The invention relates, more particularly, to a manufacturing method, belonging to the field of production processes for footwear, made by casting a single material, polyurethane, to create an article of footwear.
É sabido, também, que os materiais usados para dar resistência aos mesmos precisam ser aplicados em alto volume, o que torna, comumente, o processo de produção mais demorado, exigindo mais etapas e, entregando, por fim, um produto desfavorável ao usuário.[02] Currently, the existing shoes combine limitations and problems with the soles that take off easily, with the existence of products that are not very resistant and also have little durability and safety, as well as the complexity and slowness of the production process for the manufacturer. That said, the need to improve the shoes that are delivered to the consumer market is remarkable, which directly influences the scope of the footwear manufacturing processes in the industries, in order to contribute to the care, benefit and improvement of the integral condition of users, to which the present invention relates. It is also known that the materials used to give resistance to them need to be applied in high volume, which commonly makes the production process more time-consuming, requiring more steps and, finally, delivering an unfavorable product to the user.

In accordance with what the above-related figures illustrate, the description for understanding the invention of footwear manufactured by casting entirely of polyurethane follows.
The present invention consists of an article of footwear characterized by comprising in its production process the casting of a single material, polyurethane. Polyurethane (PU), the material that makes up the product of the invention, is a polymer formed by polyol and isocyanate by the casting process. With the casting, from a footwear article mold, between parts composed entirely of PU, a single piece is formed, which provides comfort to the user, both in casual and professional environments, with its main functions being ergonomic, light, safe. , comfortable, impact resistant, low cost, non-slip, easy to clean and even recyclable.
In this context, what can be compared to shoes made of polyurethane (PU) are shoes made of EVA material, with varied proposals of models and sizes with rubber soles, inside and out in EVA, which are glued, joining upper and sole, to manufacture the products with similar purposes. However, none compares to the concept of the invention in question, in which the structure of an article of footwear is entirely composed of PU, where the product is constituted by the casting of the material itself, with no gluing procedure between the parts that make up the footwear. .
In order to solve such problems and benefit both the consumer and producer markets, the present invention was developed, through which the footwear article is produced by an aluminum mold that receives the material, the PU, with pigmentation to color and finish the product in the mold with a design selected for manufacturing.
Since the PU can be pigmented, the footwear article manufactured through polyurethane casting, regardless of the design defined for serial manufacturing, allows the creation of different product colors to please, also aesthetically, the consumer market. .
The body of the footwear article is produced by going through the production process using virgin PU in white or with pigmentation, which characterizes it, making sole and upper a single component, through injection of the material at high temperature. , of 120° C, in the mold, solidifying the liquid polyurethane, with the fusion of the sole to the body, without seams or glue, providing a product with a light, soft and elegant finish, of an ergonomic, comfortable, impact resistant, safe and low cost, non-slip and easy to clean for the user and also recyclable.
In question, therefore, is a footwear that consists of a technological and functional product, developed and tested with functional prototypes in the field in which it is located, which made it possible to prove the statements about the favorable use of an article of footwear in accordance with the present invention, both in professional and casual use, as it is characterized by being extremely comfortable, in addition to its safety and ergonomics that please and benefit users.
[13] Idealizado como um produto inovador, a presente de invenção, de aspecto, material e processo de produção característico benéfico ao mercado de produção, resulta em um conjunto harmônico e singular, que se destaca principalmente pelo seu projeto, qualidade e composição entregue ao mercado consumidor.[13] Conceived as an innovative product, the present invention, with a characteristic appearance, material and production process beneficial to the production market, results in a harmonic and singular set, which stands out mainly for its design, quality and composition delivered to the consumer market.
The process is done first by the production of the sole, from the injection of PU in the aluminum mold, forming the same. Then, with the injection of the same material, the production of the upper, already joined to the sole, takes place, where the polymer melts, making the sole and upper a single piece.
The footwear article produced by polyurethane casting can be made using several different footwear models as a mold, for example: sandals, flip-flops, boots, which offers the manufacturer the possibility of manufacturing varied footwear options for use in different scopes, focused on both casual and professional contexts, which deliver the advantages of the invention in focus, such as low cost, comfort, safety and easy cleaning, fundamental characteristics in the purchase choice of the consumer market.
It is important to emphasize the peculiarity of an article of footwear produced in accordance with the present invention, since the material can be recycled. This factor, in addition to reducing the cost, both for the manufacturer and the user, contributes to the preservation of the environment, as well as being a positive point for the user's decision at the time of purchase.
É importante ressaltar que não há necessidade de palmilha no calçado, uma vez que este seja usado com meia, pois o material caracteriza-se pelo conforto.[17] Analyzing Figure 1, there is an isometric view of a footwear article produced in a single material, polyurethane, consisting of item (01) upper, and item (02) sole, converted into a single body by the process of foundry. The footwear article in question, visualized in Figure 2, is produced in two stages with regard to casting, which are: (1) production of the sole by injection in the mold, taking approximately 1 to 3 minutes, and (2) the production of the footwear through the second injection and, sequentially, the casting of the sole to the upper, taking approximately 1 to 3 minutes, which solidifies, forming, in the process, the body of the footwear, which can be seen in Figure 3. It is important to emphasize that there is no need for an insole in the shoe, once it is used with a sock, as the material is characterized by its comfort.
The footwear article, which is supported by the injection of liquid polyurethane into aluminum molds and casting of the material, requires approximately 3 to 6 minutes to design the final product and is finished after rapid cooling of the product at room temperature. .
