[003] Estado da Técnica e Problemática: O estado da técnica, motivo da presente patente é que a proeminência auricular, condição estética popularmente chamada de orelha em abano, é uma deformidade congênita muito comum na orelha externa, ocorrendo em cerca de 5% da população mundial, sendo mais frequente em caucasianos, ou seja, pessoas de pele branca ou descendentes de europeus. A principal característica é o ângulo maior que 40 graus entre o pavilhão auricular e o plano da mastoide ou quando a borda externa da hélice está a mais de 21 mm de distância em relação a esse mesmo plano. CLAIMS [001] “Disposable Corrector for Auricular Prominence” is an adhesive device for correcting auricular prominence characterized by being composed of a single piece of strip of inert material (1), flexible and sterile such as silicone, but not restricted to this, with hypoallergenic adhesive (2) suitable for epidermal application on both sides, protected by non-stick tape (3) to be removed in the application, with specific anatomical conformation to be applicable in the posterior part of the external ear (4), with variation for application on the right side and on the left side or anatomically designed to be applicable to both external ears, and may present specific sizes and models for different age groups and facial anatomical peculiarities.
