Abstract
monitor de tosse. a presente invenção refere-se a dispositivo portátil voltado para o monitoramento dos eventos de tosse. o dispositivo monitora a tosse por meio de sensores posicionados próximos da traquéia do indivíduo e registra em sua memória externa em arquivo no formato ascii somente os eventos significativos, o qual pode ser lido diretamente no computador. a presente invenção explora dois problemas técnicos levantados em outras inovações: quantidade e disposição dos sensores; quantidade de dados armazenados. no que diz respeito aos sensores, a presente inovação utiliza um microfone de contato e um acelerômetro. o microfone de contato é o mais indicado para o problema, por ser mais robusto a ruídos. por outro lado, o sinal gerado pelo acelerômetro é correlacionado com o movimento do tórax durante a tosse, além de fornecer informação quanto ao eixo do tórax do indivíduo. os dois sensores são acoplados em um único encapsulamento, sendo este acoplamento parte integrante da invenção. com respeito a quantidade de dados armazenados, esta invenção implementa uma etapa de detecção de tosse de alta sensibilidade, que elimina do registro trechos de fala e respiração. isto permite ganho de espaço de armazenamento, redução significativa no consumo e acelera a análise dos dados gravados em arquivo.cough monitor. With respect to the amount of data stored, this invention implements a high sensitivity cough detection step, which eliminates speech and breathing excerpts. This allows for increased storage space, significant reduction in consumption and accelerates analysis of archived data.
