"MéTODO DE SEPARAçãO CENTRìFUGA DA LAMA CONTENDO áCIDO CARBOXìLICO AROMáTICO". Método para conduzir uma separação de sólido-líquido de uma lama empregando uma centrífuga em um processo de produção de ácido carboxílico aromático, que compreende alimentar uma lama contendo ácido tereftálico e ácido acético como um solvente em um vaso de cristalização final (1) através de uma válvula flash (2) e realizar a cristalização em um estado de ebulição sob pressão reduzida para desse modo vaporizar flash o solvente e precipitar os cristais de ácido tereftálico, e operar uma centrífuga (4) sob pressão atmosférica na separação de sólido/líquido subseq³ente para recuperar os cristais de ácido tereftálico.
