Abstract
"MéTODO DE REDUZIR OS NìVEIS DE GLICOSE SANGUìNEA MéDIOS EM UM PACIENTE DEPENDENTE DE INSULINA". A invenção refere-se a um método para minimizar os níveis de glicose sanguínea em um paciente dependente de insulina administrando insulina ao paciente de uma maneira suficientemente rápida para proporcionar uma diferença de 50% ou menos entre alto e baixo níveis de glicose sanguínea. Vantajosamente, a insulina é administrada ao paciente por injeção a jato e os níveis alto e baixo de glicose sanguínea diferem um valor que e inferior aquele que seria obtido após a injeção de insulina por uma seringa de agulha convencional. A invenção também se refere a um método para reduzir os níveis de glicose sanguinea médios em um paciente dependente de insulina que está recebendo insulina através de um conjunto de seringa e agulha convencional. Este método assegura a administração de insulina ao paciente por injeção a jato mais exatamente do que pela seringa utilizando um injetor a jato em substituição à seringa.
