Abstract
"APARELHO AJUSTáVEL E MéTODO ASSOCIADO". O aparelho da presente invenção inclui uma plataforma e pelo menos dois membros independentemente ajustáveis. Os membros independentemente ajustáveis posicionam a plataforma em relação à estrutura, de tal forma que a ferramenta de perfuração seja mantida segundo uma relação de posição previamente definida com referência a superfície da estrutura. Uma porção de cada um dentre os membros independentemente ajustáveis fica em contato de operação com à superfície curva de forma complexa em um respectivo ponto de contato e os membros independentemente ajustáveis são capazes de serem estendidos por diferentes comprimentos até o respectivo ponto de contato, a fim de se acomodar à superfície curva de forma complexa. O método da presente invenção inclui a determinação do comprimento de extensão necessário para posicionar a ferramenta de perfuração segundo uma relação de posição previamente definida para cada membro independentemente ajustável com base no raio de curvatura de cada ponto de contato do membro com referência à superfície, e na distância predeterminada entre a ferramenta de perfuração e cada membro.
