"MéTODO E APARELHO DE CODIFICAçãO DE IMAGEM E MéTODO E APARELHO DE DECODIFICAçãO DE IMAGEM". Esta invenção inclui uma unidade de codificação de vídeo (101 -112) que cria um fluxo de código de vídeo (137) por codificar um sinal de vídeo de entrada (131) por utilizar um sinal de imagem de referência (141), uma unidade de codificação de imagem de referência (113 - 115) que cria um fluxo de código de imagem de referência (147) por codificar um sinal de imagem de referência (141), e uma unidade de multiplexação (117) que cria um fluxo de código de saída (149) por multiplexar o fluxo de código de vídeo (137) e o fluxo de código de imagem de referência (147).
