Abstract

"NANOMATERIAL SUPERPARAMAGNéTICO E PROCESSO PARA OBTENçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um nanomaterial superparamagnético composto de magnetita, polímero organossilano e agente extrator e processo para obtenção. As partículas de magnetita estão em escala nanométrica para apresentar a propriedade superparamagnética. As nanopartículas desse material superparamagnético possuem grupos funcionais com grande afinidade pelos íons metálicos trivalentes, tetra e hexavalentes e podem ser utilizadas para a remoção de poluentes metálicos tóxicos presentes nos efluentes industriais e radioativos. As nano e micropartículas magnéticas modificadas são conhecidas para a purificação de soluções, no campo da biomedicina, biologia molecular, medicina de diagnóstico e química. Essas partículas apresentam propriedades magnéticas somente na presença de campo magnético sendo que após a sua saturação podem ser facilmente separados do meio aquoso com a aplicação de um campo magnético, eliminando a etapa de filtração ou de centrifugação utilizados nos processos convencionais. As partículas possuem grande área específica e portanto atingem uma alta capacidade de saturação. No presente invento desenvolveu-se um processo para obtenção, partícula magnética altamente seletiva para íons metálicos tri, tetra e hexavalentes de soluções altamente ácidas. A partícula é constituída de um núcleo de magnetita superparamagnética totalmente recoberta por uma camada de composto organossilano, na qual é ancorado o agente extrator.
