Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA EMPREGANDO STEVIOSìDEO". Compreendendo uma formulação farmacêutica de fácil administração constituída de capsulas contendo 50 mg de steviosídeo associado a talco como veículo. A eficácia do steviosídeo foi comprovada em testes clínicos em humanos hipertensos. Os pacientes não relataram efeitos indesejáveis e os parâmetros bioquímicos avaliados antes e durante o tratamento não apresentaram indicativo de toxicidade. Assim, o objetivo desta invenção é oferecer uma nova opção terapêutica no tratamento da hipertensão empregando steviosídeo, cuja baixa toxicidade e custos permite seu uso não apenas isoladamente, mas em associação a outros agentes anti-hipertensivos."PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION USING STEVIOSIDE". Comprising an easily administered pharmaceutical formulation comprised of capsules containing 50 mg of talc-associated stevioside as a carrier. The efficacy of stevioside has been proven in clinical trials in hypertensive humans. Patients reported no undesirable effects and biochemical parameters evaluated before and during treatment were not indicative of toxicity. Thus, the aim of this invention is to provide a novel therapeutic option in the treatment of hypertension employing stevioside, whose low toxicity and costs allow its use not only in isolation but in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
