Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE éSTER ETìLICO DE áCIDOS GRAXOS E EQUIPAMENTO PARA A SUA REALIZAçãO". Idealizado para viabilizar técnica e economicamente a produção de biodiesel, incluindo as composições de ácidos graxos saturados e insaturados de pelo menos um dos de origem vegetal e animal, com pelo menos um álcool de cadeia de C1 a C5, preferivelmente C2H5-OH, em presença de uma catalisador ou co-catalisador, que pode ser alcalino, ácido, enzimático ou lipase, preferivelmente alcalino. O processo também inclui uma bomba(5) tendo as funções de sucção, agitação e injeção, cujo processo de transesterificação da referida mistura corre internamente a ela, sendo injetada em condição de alta pressão em um bico atomizador(30), situado internamente em um reator(3). A mistura já transesterificada internamente na bomba(5) e injetada no bico atomizador(30), ao passar de um ambiente de alta pressão para um de mais baixa pressão, imediatamente se separa em fases, uma inferior contendo glicerina e em outra superior contendo um mono-éster. Neste processo o álcool desempenha a função extra de líquido atomizador dos ácidos graxos. Tal processo possibilita a produção de ésteres com alto índice de conversão em um tempo extremamente curto."PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FATTY ACID ETHYL ESTER AND EQUIPMENT FOR PERFORMANCE". Designed to make the production of biodiesel technically and economically viable, including saturated and unsaturated fatty acid compositions of at least one of vegetable and animal origin, with at least one C1 to C5 alcohol, preferably C2H5-OH, in the presence of a catalyst or cocatalyst, which may be alkaline, acidic, enzymatic or lipase, preferably alkaline. The process also includes a pump (5) having the functions of suction, agitation and injection, whose transesterification process of said mixture runs internally therein, being injected under high pressure condition in an atomizer nozzle (30), internally located in a reactor (3). The mixture already transesterified internally in the pump (5) and injected into the atomizer nozzle (30), when moving from a high pressure environment to a lower pressure one, immediately separates into phases, a lower one containing glycerin and a higher one containing a monoester. In this process alcohol performs the extra function of atomizing liquid of fatty acids. Such a process makes it possible to produce esters with high conversion rates in an extremely short time.
