O aço ino-xidável austenítico possui um teor de <sym>-ferrita menor que 8,5 e igual a 6,77[(d)+(h)+1,5(b)]-4,85[(e)+30(a)+-30(f)+0,5(c)+0,3(g)]-52,75."AUSTENIC STAINLESS STEEL". Austenitic stainless steel comprising (a) from 0.03 wt% to 0.12 wt% C; (b) from 0.2 wt% to 1.0 wt% Si; (c) from 7.5 wt% to 10.5 wt% Mn; (d) from 14.0 wt% to 16 wt% Cr; (e) from 1.0 wt% to 5.0 wt% Ni; (f) from 0.04 wt% to 0.25 wt% N; (g) from 1.0 wt% to 3.5 wt% Cu; (h) trace quantities of Mo; and the remainder being Fe and incidental impurities. Austenitic stainless steel has a <sym> ferrite content of less than 8.5 and equal to 6.77 [(d) + (h) +1.5 (b)] - 4.85 [(e) +30 (a) + - 30 (f) +0.5 (c) +0.3 (g)] - 52.75.
