Abstract
"EXPLORAçãO ELETROSSìSMICA NãO LINEAR". Um método para exploração sísmica, usando-se conversões não lineares (por exemplo, o item 6, Fig. 10) entre energia eletromagnética e sísmica. Os retornos sísmicos de uma forma de onda de fonte (por exemplo, o item 180, Fig. 7A) são correlacionados com uma forma de onda de referência (item 150, Fig. 5B), com ambas as formas de onda projetadas para minimizarem ambos os lobos laterais de correlação e a interferência de efeitos eletrossísmicos lineares. Um elemento de forma de onda (por exemplo, o item 10, Fig. 1A) é selecionado para ser seq³enciado por um código digital binário ou similar, para a geração de uma varredura de entrada com a penetração de profundidade necessária e supressão de ruído. Uma correlação da resposta sísmica com a forma de onda de referência em uma etapa de processamento de dados matematicamente agrega a resposta sísmica da varredura de entrada em uma ondulação única (por exemplo, o item 160, Fig. 6A). Os códigos digitais binários preferidos incluem 'Britains' prescritos de seq³ências de registrador de deslocamento de comprimento máximo (por exemplo, item 100, Fig. 3A). Também, um aparelho (itens 152 a 157, Fig. 15) para a geração das formas de onda desejadas.
