A invenção refere-se a atividade repelente aos mosquitos Aedes aegypti e Anopheles spp (carapanã), através de uma vela formulada com parafina e o óleo essencial da planta Piper aduncum . A vela, enquanto acessa, exala um agente ativo, a tóxico, que inibe a fome dos mosquitos, reduzindo a necessidade de picar as pessoas. O óleo essencial apresenta também, boa atividade larvicida e inseticida contra as larvas e os adultos dos referidos mosquitos."PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF PIPER ADUNCUM OIL CANDLE AND PROCESS FOR USE OF PIPER ADUNCUM OIL AS A REPELLENT AGENT IN FIGHTING AEDES AEGYPTI AND ANOPHELES SPP MOSQUITOES". The invention relates to the mosquito repellent activity Aedes aegypti and Anopheles spp (carapanã) through a paraffin-formulated candle and the essential oil of the Piper aduncum plant. The candle, while accessing, exhales an active, toxic agent that inhibits mosquito hunger, reducing the need to bite people. The essential oil also has good larvicidal and insecticidal activity against the larvae and adults of the mosquitoes.
