Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A RESOLUçãO DA DISTORçãO DE PERSPECTIVA EM UMA IMAGEM DE DOCUMENTO E PARA O CáLCULO DE SOMAS DE LINHAS EM IMAGENS". Uma distorção de perspectiva é estimada em uma imagem de documento digital, pela detecção de ponto de referência de perspectiva em duas direções, um sendo paralelo a linhas de texto e o outro sendo paralelo às fronteiras de colunas de texto formatado. Os ponto de referência são detectados pela análise de características estatísticas direcionais da imagem. Para a detecção de um ponto de referência, uma primeira transformada de linha estatística é aplicada para transformar a imagem em um espaço de linha, e uma segunda transformada de escore estatístico é aplicada para transformar a imagem em um espaço de ponto de referência. Um pico dominante no espaço de ponto de referência identifica o ponto de referência de perspectiva. Além disso, uma técnica de soma de linha eficiente em termos computacionais, é usada para se efetuar somas de pixeis ao longo de linhas alvo inclinadas (ou curvas) através de uma imagem. A técnica inclui a pré-geração de somas parciais e uma soma ao longo de segmentos de intervalo de uma linha alvo usando as somas parciais.
