Em linhas gerais, a novidade consiste de um motor de combustão cujo volante (7) constitui o rotor/induzido de um motor/gerador elétrico montado na entrada da caixa de câmbio (8), no trecho (9) que envolve o eixo do motor e o próprio volante, dita carcaça recebendo em sua parte interna o conjunto indutor, formado por diversas bobinas de campo (10), interligadas eletricamente entre si e a dois terminais externos (11), os quais são conectados à bateria (12) do veículo. Este novo sistema motor/gerador elétrico prevê o emprego de uma central eletrónica de controle (13), dotada de microprocessador (14) que comanda toda a operação do motor/gerador acima descrito, dita central atuando em conjunto com um banco de capacitores (15) de alto desempenho."IMPROVEMENTS INTRODUCED IN AUTOMOTIVE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES".
