Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA REDIRECIONAR DADOS PARA UM DISPOSITIVO SEM FIO POR UMA PLURALIDADE DE VIAS DE COMUNICAçãO". São fornecidos um sistema e método para redirecionar dados para um dispositivo móvel tendo um transceptor RF de longa distância e um transceptor RF de curta distância. O sistema determina se o dispositivo móvel está em proximidade física da rede RF de curta distância, e, se o for, redireciona dados para o dispositivo móvel através da rede RF de curta distância, e se não, redireciona dados para o dispositivo de dados através da rede RF de longa distância. São fornecidos múltiplos métodos para determinar a localização física do dispositivo móvel. Também é fornecida uma rede RF de curta distância incluindo uma pluralidade de suportes de interface ativados para RF para gerar uma rede de pico-células dentro de uma ou mais localizações de escritório. Quando o dispositivo móvel vier dentro da vizinhança de uma dessas pico-células, informação de contato é fornecida para o sistema indicando a localização física do dispositivo móvel.
