Método de manter a sincronização de tempo de um terminal móvel de uma rede de telecomunicação, o terminal móvel tendo clocks de alta velocidade e de baixa velocidade, em modo de sono profundo, compreendendo: quando o modo de sono profundo é iniciado, faz-se uma medição inicial para estabelecer um relacionamento de freq³ência entre os clocks de alta velocidade e o de baixa velocidade, iniciando-se o modo de sono profundo no qual o clock de alta velocidade é desativado, e atualiza-se a dita correlação com base no tempo de chegada de blocos de radiochamada, cronometrado pelo clock de baixa velocidade."TIME SYNCHRONIZATION FOR MOBILE SYSTEMS".
