Abstract
"MISTURAS DE ELASTÈMERO à BASE DE ISOBUTILENO". As propriedades de resistência verde, alongamento verde e relaxamento verde aperfeiçoadas de elastómeros à base de isobutileno em temperaturas elevadas junto com propriedades de envelhecimento e de barreira aperfeiçoadas são conseguidas através de mistura de copolímeros semicompatíveis, semicristalinos, com os elastómeros de isobutileno. Os copolímeros semicristalinos são tipicamente copolímeros de etileno e uma alfa-olefina tendo de 4 a 16 átomos de carbono. As propriedades aperfeiçoadas são mantidas em compostos de borracha subseq³entes contendo as ditas misturas e são particularmente úteis em aplicações de pneu e de recipiente farmacêutico."ISOBUTYLENE BASED ELASTOMER MIXTURES". The improved green strength, green elongation and green relaxation properties of isobutylene-based elastomers at elevated temperatures along with improved aging and barrier properties are achieved by blending semicrystalline semicompatible copolymers with isobutylene elastomers. Semicrystalline copolymers are typically copolymers of ethylene and an alpha olefin having from 4 to 16 carbon atoms. The improved properties are maintained in subsequent rubber compounds containing said mixtures and are particularly useful in tire and pharmaceutical container applications.
