Abstract

"RECONHECIMENTO DINâMICO DE UMA MENSAGEM DE PAGING GERAL VAZIA". Um método e um equipamento para reduzir o consumo médio de potência em uma unidade remota em um sistema de comunicação sem fio. Quando uma unidade remota em um sistema de comunicação em modo particionado (slotted) recebe uma mensagem de paging geral, ela deintercala e decodifica as amostras de dados brutos. Antes de analisa-las, ela compara as amostras de dados decodificados com as amostras armazenadas em uma memória. Com base em tal comparação, a unidade remota determina se a mensagem está ou não vazia. Caso a mensagem esteja vazia, a unidade remota passa para um estado inativo. Ao comparar antes da análise (parsing), a unidade remota é capaz de economizar potência por entrar no estado inativo mais cedo. Caso nenhuma amostra esteja armazenada na memória, em lugar de comparar, a unidade remota analisa a mensagem e executa quaisquer instruções. Caso, ao analisar, a unidade remota determine que a mensagem está vazia, pelo menos uma parte da mensagem fica armazenada na memória.
