"ARTIGO DE CUIDADO PESSOAL, E MéTODO DE VARIAR A RESPONSIVIDADE á áGUA DE UMA COMPOSIçãO". A presente invenção é uma combinação que reage positivamente à água de um polilactídeo e álcool polivinílico. A presente invenção inclui filmes e artigos de cuidado pessoal compreendendo uma combinação de um álcool polivinílico e um polilactídeo e inclui um método de produção de tais filmes e artigos e um método de variação da responsividade à água de tais filmes e artigos. Em uma modalidade preferida, as composições, filmes e artigos compreendem uma combinação de álcool polivinílico e polilactídeo modificado. As composições e filmes aqui descritos são úteis como um componente em artigos passível de descarga e degradáveis.
