Abstract

Descreve-se uma composição combustível que compreende um biodiesel e um tensoativo, caracterizada em que o tensoativo inclui uma mistura de uma alcanolamida, um álcool alcoxilado e um ácido graxo alcoxilado ou um seu derivado. Mais particularmente, é descrita uma composição combustível em que o componente diesel é uma mistura de biodiesel com diesel de petróleo, por exemplo até 20% v/v de biodiesel. Descreve-se também um processo de funcionamento de um motor de combustão interna compreendendo o uso de um combustível de acordo com a reivindicação 1."FUEL COMPOSITION, METHOD OF OPERATING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND USE OF OILIC ACID OR A DERIVATIVE FROM THE SAME". A fuel composition comprising a biodiesel and a surfactant is described, characterized in that the surfactant includes a mixture of an alkanolamide, an alkoxylated alcohol and an alkoxylated fatty acid or a derivative thereof. More particularly, a fuel composition is described in which the diesel component is a mixture of biodiesel with petroleum diesel, for example up to 20% v / v biodiesel. Also described is a method of operating an internal combustion engine comprising the use of a fuel according to claim 1.
