"EQUIPAMENTO PARA USO EM UM FURO DE POçO, MéTODO PARA ESTABELECER UMA SEçãO NãO ESTRUTURADA DE UM FURO DE POçO EM UMA FORMAçãO SUBTERRANEA, MéTODO PARA FACILITAR O USO DE UM FURO DE POçO, MéTODO PARA VEDAR UMA PARTE DE UM FURO DE POçO TUBULAR, SISTEMA PARA FACILITAR A COMUNICAçãO AO LONGO DE UM FURO DE POçO E MéTODO DE ROTEAMENTO DE UMA LINHA DE POçO". Um equipamento adequado para uso em um furo de poço compreende um dispositivo biestável expansível. Um dispositivo de exemplo possui uma pluralidade de células biestáveis, formadas como uma configuração tubular.
