Apresente invenção se refere a uma coquilha de placas resfriada porlíquido, para a extrusão de metais, especialmente de materiais deaço, abrangendo placas de coquilha 1 com alto grau decondutividade térmica fabricadas de cobre ou de ligas de cobre,que são ligadas por meio de cavilhas de fixação 2 respectivamentea uma caixa d'água ou a uma placa de suporte 4. Do lado da águade cada placa de coquilha 1 são dispostos componentes perfilados6 dotados com rosca 5 e que são ligados às placas de coquilha 1,como peças de fixação, por junta mecânica, por meio de ligaçõessoldadas 7,71 ou por soldagem por jato de elétrons 12."PLATE COOKER COOLED BY LIQUID".
