Um método e sistema de comunicação multiplexada de divisão por tempo em que o tempo é dividido em N rajadas de dados. O método e sistema ainda tem um primeiro multiplexador pelo qual um canal de meia velocidade é formado como uma série de rajadas que ocorrem periodicamente a cada N rajadas, uma vez por quadro, um segundo multiplexador em que um canal de velocidade integral é formado como dois canais de meia velocidade em intervalos de tempo consecutivos e um transmissor transmitindo o canal de velocidade integral de uma primeira estação sem fio a uma segunda estação sem fio. The method and system also has a first multiplexer by which a half speed channel is formed as a series of bursts that occur periodically every N bursts, once per frame, a second multiplexer in which a full speed channel is formed as two half speed channels at consecutive time intervals and a transmitter transmitting the full speed channel from a first wireless station to a second wireless station. The full speed channel provided by the two half speed channels at consecutive time intervals produces a significantly larger set of resources available for assigning communication traffic. For full speed channels, the 0246/1357 interlacing method that is used by the system is as good as the known method of 0123/4567 when the ideal frequency hop is used, and the 0246/1357 method performs best when frequency hopping is not ideal or no frequency hopping is used.
