Abstract
"SEPARADOR MAGNéTICO DE BAIXA INTENSIDADE". Um aparelho separador magnético para separar partículas magnetizáveis de uma corrente de partículas de fluxo constante em uma corrente de fluído circulante, incluindo um alojamento com um túnel através do mesmo e um portador com movimento relativo alternativo através do túnel. O portador tem elementos e filtro afastados entre si, que contêm meios de filtro magnetizáveis e correntes de partículas de entrada e saída em um fluxo de fluído que escoa para cada filtro. A separação continua até um elemento de filtro se tornar cheio de partículas, em cuja ocasião o elemento de filtro cheio é removido do campo magnético e substituido por um elemento limpo, para permitir que a separação continue enquanto o elemento cheio é esvaziado e limpo para ficar pronto para uso subseq³ente. O alojamento é formado por um par de chapas afastadas entre si magneticamente permeáveis entre as mesmas ao longo de lados do túnel. os elementos podem ser ímãs permanentes, eletroímãs ou ímãs supercondutores, para criar um campo de baixa intensidade.
