A presente invenção refere-se ao processo de obtenção do composto 5- metanosulfonamida - N -butil-2-(4-isopropilfeniloxi)benzamida, ao composto resultante e à sua aplicação como anti-inflamatório. O processo compõe-se de quatro etapas. O composto resultante tem atividade anti-inflamatória constatada de 16,32% (na concentração de 10mg/kg), e tem atividade anti-inflamatória constatada de 23,44% (na concentração de 100mg/kg)."COMPONENT SYNTHESIS PROCESS 5-METHANOSULPHONAMIDE-N-BUTYL 2- (4-ISOPROPIL-PHENYLOXY) BENZAMID".
