Abstract

"MéTODO BASEADO EM COMPUTADOR PARA IDENTIFICAçãO DE MOTIVOS DE PEPTìDEO INVARIANTE CONSERVADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método baseado em computador para realização de comparação sensata de genoma de vários organismos, o dito método de computador envolve a criação de bibliotecas de peptídeo a partir de seq³ências de proteína de vários organismos e subseq³ente comparação levando à identificação de motivos de peptídeo invariante conservados, e para esta finalidade vários motivos de peptídeo invariante foram identificados através de comparação de seq³ência direta entre os vários organismos bacterianos e os genomas hospedeiros sem quaisquer suposições a priori, e o presente método é útil para identificação de alvos de drogas potenciais e pode servir como barreira de droga para antibacterianos de amplo espectro bem como para diagnóstico específico de infecções, e, em adição, para determinação da função de proteínas de funções ainda desconhecidas com a ajuda de tais sinais de motivos de peptídeo invariantes.
