E fornecido um processo para a recuperação de ácido Dtartárico essencialmente enanciomericamente puro de correntes aquosas de rejeitos orgânicos gerados na decomposição de 2-amino-2,3dimetilbutironitrila racêmico através da formação e isolamento de um sal cristalino monobásico de tartarato. The optically pure recovered D-tartaric acid can be efficiently recycled to produce a durable breakdown of racemic 2-amino-2,3-dimethylbutyronitrile.
