Os métodos e sistemas da presente invenção possibilitam, de maneira segura, as principais funções no e-comércio, em uma maneira coerente e menos complexa quando comparado com modelos existentes. Ela é de aplicação direta em lojas eletrônicas MSO com um ou mais negociantes afiliados. Vantajosamente, a invenção pode ser usada para possibilitar transações de e-comércio entre um negociante (135) e um consumidor através de um terminal de entretenimento (100). O terminal de entretenimento (100) é capaz de proporcionar a um consumidor o acesso a uma seleção de bens e serviços (140) fornecidos por um ou mais negociantes (135) através de um servidor de transação do negociante (150) .
