Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA INICIALIZAR UM TERMINAL DE TOPO DE APARELHO EM UM SISTEMA DE TELEVISãO A CABO". Um método e sistema para programar um terminal de topo de aparelho em um sistema de televisão a cabo inclui automaticamente iniciar um objeto de código de inicialização da memória só de leitura do terminal de topo de aparelho quando o terminal for energizado ou reajustado. O objeto de código de inicialização automaticamente identificará e adquirirá e implementará o código de plataforma de base, que pode ser adquirido da memória do terminal de topo de aparelho ou transferido de uma corrente de transporte de dados provida sobre o sistema de televisão a cabo. Uma vez que o código de plataforma de base esteja em execução, o código de inicialização e terminado. O código de plataforma de base então, automaticamente, localiza e adquire o objeto de sistema operacional e qualquer outra aplicação residente de uma seq³ência nativa, que pode ser extraída da memória do terminal de topo de aparelho ou transferida do sistema a cabo. O código de plataforma de base autentica a seq³ência nativa e, depois, inicia a seq³ência nativa para prover a total funcionalidade do terminal de topo de aparelho.
