Abstract
"UNIDADE DE FORçA ROTATIVA". Uma unidade de força rotativa (10), compreendendo um alojamento (22), tendo uma abertura circular (24) e uma pluralidade de orifícios (28) se estendendo ao longo de um eixo geométrico radial a partir de um centro da abertura (24), um rotor nodular (52) montado no interior da abertura (24) do alojamento (22) e coaxialmente girante no interior da abertura (24). O rotor nodular (52) compreende uma pluralidade de nós (58) igualmente distribuídos ao longo do seu círculo delimitador e o número de nós (58) e um número inteiro ímpar menor que o número de orifícios (28) no alojamento (22). Uma pluralidade de módulos de cilindro substituível (70) é fixamente receptíveis no interior de um respectivo orifício (28) no interior do alojamento (22). Cada módulo de cilindro (70) compreende um êmbolo (72) deslizante dentro de um cilindro (74), um membro atuador de êmbolo (78) associado com cada êmbolo (72) e uma unidade de trabalho associada com uma cabeça de cilindro (88) numa extremidade distal do cilindro (74). Cada êmbolo (72) é deslocável ao longo do eixo geométrico radial entre uma posição de Ponto Morto Superior (PMS) e uma posição de Ponto Morto Inferior (PMI), o êmbolo sendo compelido para o interior do PMI. O rotor nodular (52) é equipado com um sistema redutor de empuxo radial (60) para engate com os respectivos membros atuadores de êmbolo (78).
