"PROCESSOS PARA IDENTIFICAçãO DE UM MARCADOR GENéTICO ASSOCIADO COM UM LOCAL GENéTICO, PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA PLURALIDADE DE áRVORES CLONAIS QUE TêM PROPRIEDADES MELHORADAS DE COMPRIMENTO DE FIBRA, E PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA FAMìLIA DE áRVORES, AMOSTRAS DE áRVORES CLONAIS DE COMPRIMENTO DE FIBRA MELHORADO, MAPA GENéTICO DE QTLS DE áRVORES, E, MARCADOR GENéTICO DE COMPRIMENTO DE FIBRA DE áRVORES". A presente invenção refere-se a um novo processo para a previsão de comprimento de fibra e seleção de árvores supenores que usa locais de marcador genético. O processo compreende a comparação de dados de levantamento genotípico a dados fenotípicos coletados das mesmas árvores usadas para criar o levantamento genotípico e identificar o marcador genético em particular ou locais de traço quantitativo (QTL's) que estão associados com o comprimento da fibra. O processo permite que sejam identificadas árvores superiores, provenientes tanto de plantações como de populações naturais e selecionadas para os programas de multiplicação para melhoria de árvores por genotipagem com locais de marcador genético identificado.
