Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR REMOTAMENTE PELO MENOS UMA CARACTERìSTICA DE UMA FUMAçA DE EMISSãO DE VEìCULO". Um dispositivo sensor remoto para determinar pelo menos uma característica de uma fumaça de emissão de veículo (12) incluindo uma fonte de radiação (10), um detector (14) e uma pluralidade de filtros (15). Tanto os filtros (15) quanto o detector (14) são móveis em relação uns aos outros, de tal modo que filtros diferentes (15), cada um dos quais capaz de filtrar radiação exceto aquela que possua uma faixa de comprimento de onda predeterminada, podem ser usados para filtrar a radiação direcionada ao detector (14). Revela-se também um método para se determinar remotamente pelo menos uma característica de uma fumaça de emissão de veículo (12) usando um detector único (14) e uma pluralidade de filtros (15) no qual tanto o detector (14) quanto os filtros (15) são posicionáveis em relação uns aos outros.
