Abstract

"SISTEMA DE PRé-HIDRóLISE DA MATéRIA ORGâNICA DO LIXO E PROCESSO DE INDUSTRIALIZAçãO DO LIXO". OF THE ORGANIC MATTER OF THE GARBAGE AND PROCESS OF INDUSTRIALIZATION OF THE GARBAGE". The present invention is based on the presentation of the average composition of urban waste composed of plastic, paper, metal, glass, organic matter from the waste (MOL), ashes, batteries and moisture content. The MOL was subjected to acid prehydrolysis (2.5% H ~ 2 ~ SO ~ 4 ~ on dry matter) and a prehydrolyzate of 12% sugars and cellulignin with 12% ash was obtained. Bearing in mind that the MOL contains only 30% dry matter, it was concluded that the economics of the process defined as weight of solid matter per cubic meter of reactor improves with the mixture of 50% MOL and 50% biomass (wood, grass, vegetable waste, etc.). This technique reached 300 kg of dry biomass / m ^ 3 ^ (BS) of reactor. This requirement is not limiting in view of the fact that biomass can be supplied by afforestation of the urban perimeter or plantations of 1ha of grass for every 1000 inhabitants near the cities.
