Abstract

"CONVERSOR CC-CC MULTINìVEL PARA ALTA POTêNCIA, EM ALTA FREQuêNCIA". A presente invenção introduz novo emprego de paralelismo de chaves em conversores CC-CC multiníveis chaveados em alta freq³ência. Um conversor multinível de alta potência, em alta freq³ência, póde ser implementado, somente, devido à utilização de uma combinação de chaves : Mosfet em paralelo com IGBT. Essa combinação permitiu a diminuição de perdas de condução e principalmente de chaveamento, no bloqueio da chave equivalente. A diminuição das perdas na chave possibilitou o aumento da freq³ência de chaveamento e da densidade de potência do conversor. Os transistores são ligados juntos e conduzem a corrente total da chave equivalente. No instante do bloqueio, o IGBT é desligado enquanto que o Mosfet permanece em condução, por um certo tempo, conduzindo a totalidade da corrente da chave, esperando que os portadores minoritários do IGBT se recombinem para que o efeito da cauda de corrente seja evitado."MULTINIBLE DC-DC CONVERTER FOR HIGH POWER, AT HIGH FREQUENCY". The present invention introduces a new use of switch parallelism in high frequency multilevel DC-DC converters. A high power multilevel converter, at high frequency, could only be implemented due to the use of a combination of switches: MOSFET in parallel with IGBT. This combination allowed the reduction of conduction losses and mainly of switching, when blocking the equivalent key. The decrease in losses in the switch made it possible to increase the switching frequency and the power density of the converter. The transistors are connected together and conduct the full current of the equivalent switch. At the time of blocking, the IGBT is switched off while the Mosfet remains in conduction, for a certain time, carrying all of the key chain, hoping that the minority holders of the IGBT will recombine so that the effect of the current tail is avoided.
