Trata-se de um revestimento de diâmetro único para um poço perfurado que é formado mediante a expansão radial de uma primeira camisa tubular retirando a mesma de um mandril para entrar em contato com uma segunda camisa tubular. As primeira e segunda camisas tubulares são posicionadas no interior do poço perfurado em uma relação de sobreposição parcial. As partes dispostas em sobreposição das camisas tubulares incluem partes de parede fina com elementos anulares compressíveis que são expandidas para entrarem em contato uma com a outra.''
