Abstract
The embossed decor on the glassware is obtained by applying pre-synthesized low-flammable glass with a high content of lead oxide. After grinding, grinding and sifting, if necessary, inert materials may be introduced. The glass thus prepared is used as a relief paint for the glassware. The paint with the necessary consistency is applied directly onto the glass and baked once.
Description
The invention relates to a composition and method for embossing glassware.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
2.Known is a composition and method for the relief decoration of glass and finokeramichni articles / 1 / which comprises, in wt.%: Δϊθ 2 from 30 to 34, PBO 60 to 64, B 2 0 3 from 0.50 to 1.0, Al 2 O 3 from 0.50 to 0.80, K 2 O from 0.40 to 2, Na 2 0 from 0.50 to 2 and MoO 3 from 0.50 to 2.
The disadvantage of the said composition is that it can not obtain enough plastic table for direct execution of embossed decor, which after baking preserve its relief. According to the known method, embossed decoration elements are formed in advance, which are transferred with knobs, tweezers, etc. on the articles where the final decoration is done, underlying a relief layer (undercoat) to make the adhesion between the glass surface and embossed decor.
The disadvantage of the famous method is that the process of declaration is complicated and slow.
