Abstract

The method and the device are used in audio equipment engineering and secure the formation of sound images in any point of the sound recorded 3-dimetional space. The image depends neither on the location of the sound source, the image of which is formed, nor on the positioning of the loudspeakers. The method includes the conversion of the acoustic monosignal into two-channel electric signal. The signals of both channels are independently manipulated by phase and/or amplitude so that a constant phase and/or amplitude difference is established between them, after which every electrical signal is converted into acoustic. The device consists of acoustic monosignal inverter (26) of the sound source into electric signal (not shown), connected to a two-channel signal processor unit (27.1, 27.2) for independent processing of the signals in the two channels by phase and amplitude, outputs (70, 71) of the signal processor units 27.1, 27.2) being coupled to two independent inverters (1,2) of the electric signal of the two channels into acoustic, and processor units (27.1, 27.2) are connected to a control unit (29).
