Abstract
The apparatus is used in research related to gravitational settling of polydisperse liquid systems. The apparatus is for universal applications, and may be used in continuous investigation of any non-transparent liquid system. The apparatus consists of a conical vessel (1), with movable base (2) and cover (3), located in close proximity to an inner wall containing numerous identical sensors (5) located in a series of niches distributed in a spiral pattern. Each sensor (5) consists of a hollow, thin-walled cylinder with a movable cover (6) and base (7), with said cylinder being attached to feedback compensator (8) located outside the vessel and connected to a measurement system (9), which is in turn interfaced to computer (10).<IMAGE>
