Abstract
This apparatus finds application in calculating the degree of chemical or radiation crosslinking in polymers. This method enables precise separation into a crosslinked fraction (gel fraction) and a non-crosslinked fraction (sol fraction), thereby guaranteeing precise calculation of results. The device includes a glass balloon with slide (1) with a glass or metal grate (2) holding numerous perforated glass cups (3). A glass tube (4) with a check valve is attached to the glass balloon.
